The American Sewing Guild will hold its monthly meeting at the JELM on Thursday, March 15, in the JELM library. The meeting will get under way at 10 a.m.

The JELM has expanded its group of sewing ladies this year to include the Prayer Shawl Ministry, the American Sewing Guild and the Needleworks group.

Evelyn Niebrugge and Micky Fox would also like the public’s input for names of anyone suffering due to illness or tragedy that might be comforted by a shawl. Call the JELM office Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The group will mail a shawl to anyone who lives out of town.

Niebrugge and Fox are still looking for donations of yarn to help with this project.
