Cub Scouts set barbecue fundraiser for March 3

Port Aransas Cub Scouts will host a barbecue fundraiser on Saturday, March 3.

Pack 29 will hold the barbecue in a parking lot at Alister Street and Cut-off Road from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Plates with country-style ribs, potato salad, beans and a slice of bread will be sold for $8 per plate.

Plates can be purchased on the day of the event. Folks also can buy tickets ahead of time for the same price. For tickets, contact any Cub Scout or contact Cherith Fenton at (361) 446-0496. Fenton is den leader of Pack 29’s Wolf Pack.

Proceeds will go to help fund camping trips for the scouts, Fenton said.
