The junior varsity Marlins completed a successful season at home on Tuesday, Feb. 14, by doubling the score against the Woodsboro Eagles, 46-23.

“We got a lot of rebounds and scored the ball inside successfully for most of the game,” coach Kris Jones commented. “The kids worked really hard all year, and were paid off with an overall record of 16-5 (7-1 in district). They won two tournament championships and played hard every time.”

The defense held the JV Eagles to single digits each quarter, which contributed to the win.

Nick Maxham topped the scoring column with 19; Skyler Fusso and Hudson Ross followed with six each. Harris Hipp hit for four, and Dan Campbell, Jackson Willoughby and Ryan Zollars each put in two points.
