Parrot Heads to sponsor party and fundraiser to benefit food pantry

The Parrot Heads of Port Aransas are sponsoring an “It’s About Time We Had a Spring Break Too” party and fundraiser on March 10 to benefit the Helping Hands Food Pantry.

Tickets are $10 if purchased by March 3 and $15 at the event. That price covers “beach” food, games, a prize drawing and auction, a “Spring PHling 2012” keepsake and live music by the Port A Rockers.

Soda, water and alcoholic beverages will be sold for a donation.

The event will be in a Parrot Head’s home from 2-9 p.m. The address will be on the tickets.
