Enjoy music, games and more at the 14th annual Mardi Gras Carnival on Saturday, Feb. 25.

The event also will feature vendors selling their wares on the grounds of Sharkey’s Beach Club, 2600 State Hwy. 361.

Sponsored by the Port Aransas Leisure Society (PALS), the event benefits the Jody McCormick Vocational Scholarship Fund to support scholarships that are awarded to graduates of Port Aransas High School.

McCormick was the late owner of Sharkey’s.

Festivities will be held from 1 to 7 p.m. in the parking lot at Sharkey’s.

Family-friendly activities will include a fish pond, a Hula Hoop contest, Cajun lotto, a cake walk, wiener dog and small dog races, a moon walk, prize drawings and a silent auction.

Music by Todd Dorn and the Sea Drifters will start at 2 p.m.

Vendors also are welcome and may set up shop for a $20 donation to the scholarship fund.
