Little League try-outs will close today

The Port Aransas Little League will hold its final day of try-outs today, Thursday, Feb. 23, at Port Aransas Community Park.

Boys and girls at the coach pitch level (ages 7 and 8) try out from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Players have tried out a number of other days earlier this month, with the dates of their try-outs varying according to their ages and whether they are boys or girls.

The season begins March 31.
