Dart Association to hold awards banquet Tuesday

The Port Aransas Dart Association will hold its annual awards banquet to end the 2011-2012 co-ed season Tuesday, Feb. 28. It will be at 7 p.m. in The Flats Lounge, 801 Tarpon St.

The Flats 2 team won the first PADA Superbowl and first place in Division 2. Gulf Coast Taxi placed second and Coffee Waves third in Division 2.

In Division 1, Neptune’s Retreat placed first, Moore- McDonald VFW Post 8967 got second, and Flats 1 placed third.

Individual trophies will be awarded for quality points, low dart out, and number of singles games won. Those who scored a ton 80 will receive an embroidered shirt to commemorate the achievement. The largest trophy will be for team sportsmanship.
