Annual style show to be held March 8
Fashion and fun
Models for the Port Aransas Garden Club’s annual style show, “Fashions and Flip- Flops ... Island Style,” to be held Thursday, March 8, have been chosen. They include Barbara Behrens, Annette Casto, Carolee Crider, Carolyn Curlee, Angie Fry, Sandi Pruett, Cecilya Ramsey, Gail Swenson, Wallis and Olivia Starr, Angie and Colton Huckabay, Gwen Boyer, Suzanne Brayman, Carolyn Andrews, Tammy Bundy, Johnie Swenson, Dr. John Fucik, Judge Duncan Neblett and Constable Bobby Sherwood. Doors will open at the Port Aransas Civic Center on the corner of Cut-off Road and Avenue A at 1 p.m. Local shops will display their new spring inventories at their booths as shoppers enjoy wine and hors d’oeurvres. The fashion show begins at 2:30 p.m. Joy Morrow-Lucas will narrate. Tickets may be purchased at participating shops, which are Antique Mermaid, 1023 State Hwy. 361; Absolutely Everything/C&G Sisters, 314 E. Ave. G ; The Coastal Closet, 1726 State Hwy. 361, Suite D; Cita Resort Interiors, 129 N. Alister St.; Fish on the Line, 315 S. Alister St., Suite 105; Fishtales, 337 N. Alister St.; Island Woman Boutique, 345 N. Alister St., Suite E; Jo D’s Etc., 345 N. Alister St; Raggdoll Boutique, 124 E. Ave. G; Salt Grass Boutique, 345 N.
