The Moore McDonald VFW Post 8967 is gearing up for its annual auction, raffle and smoked pork dinner to be held on Saturday, Feb. 18.

Events will get underway with the auction at noon, followed by a smoked pork dinner with sides to be served at 4 p.m. Curbside to-go orders also will be available.

Prize drawings and a dance will begin at 6 p.m. Up for grabs are four Visa gift cards in the amounts of $1,000, $250, $100 and $100, to be awarded at the event.

Tickets for the prize drawing may be purchased at the post home, 311 N. Alister St., any day from noon to 10 p.m.

Tickets cost $2 each, or six for $10. Winners need not be present to win.

The proceeds benefit graduating Port Aransas High School seniors, as well as various veterans’ programs and the post’s building fund.
