Dave Parsons filed today for Place 7 on the Port Aransas ISD Board of Trustees.

Parsons, deputy city manager for the City of Port Aransas, is seeking the position currently held by Ann Appling.

Appling indicated she would run, but that if someone qualified stepped up, she would step aside.

As of today, Appling had not filed.
