Gary Linn Einkauf of Port Aransas died Tuesday, Jan. 17, 2012.

He was born Jan. 8, 1949, in Gonzales to Naomi and Woodrow Einkauf. He had been a Port Aransas resident since 1972, working as a professional fishing and duck hunting guide.

Survivors include his wife, Suzanna Reeder of Port Aransas; son, Carson Clay Einkauf of Port Aransas; step son, Walter F. (Brooke) Sohl of Hawaii; four sisters, Cassandra Einkauf of Arizona, Sharon Ramsay of Corpus Christi, Christine Carillo of New Mexico and Jamie Turvey of Corpus Christi; and two granddaughters.

A memorial service was held Saturday, Jan. 21, at Trinityby the-Sea Episcopal Church in Port Aransas. Expressions of sympathy may be made by donation to the Port Aransas Education Foundation, P.O.
