Jane “Tutu” Cones, 82, of San Antonio died on Monday, Jan. 9. She was a part-time resident of Port Aransas.

Cones had her own radio show in San Antonio and appeared with big bands locally and nationally.

She had been a member of Cornerstone Church in San Antonio since 1971 and sang in the choir there. She was a devoted Christian, mother, grandmother and greatgrandmother who believed in natural health and enjoyed spending time at the beach in Port Aransas.

Sur vivors include her daughters, Jill (Jim) Riedel, Jann (Steve ) Milam and Jackie “Bullet” Cones, all of San Antonio; seven grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Bobbie and David Henry, and her husband, Jack Cones Jr.

A service was held on Friday, Jan. 13, at her church.
