Services have been set for Dennis Walker and Minnie Layne.

Layne, who died Thursday, Dec. 15, was the mother of Phyllis Layne, the grandmother of Tanya Chambers and great-grandmother of Chase Chambers, all of Port Aransas.

Viewing for Layne will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 18, at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home in Aransas Pass.

Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Monday, Dec. 19, at First Baptist Church of Port Aransas.

Walker, a long-time employee of Woody's Sports Center, died in Corpus Christi last week.

His ashes will be scattered at 2 p.m. from the Island Queen, out of Woody's Sports Center.
