Brundrett Middle School band students were treated to a performance by professional musicians Carl Bernstein and his fiance, Marilyn Priddy, both of Las Vegas, N.M., on Wednesday, Nov. 2. Bernstein and Priddy also did a show for the Port Aransas High School band. The couple played jazz, blue grass and folk rock for the students. They performed while vacationing in Port Aransas and didn’t charge the school district anything for doing the shows.
