Marlin cross country team takes silver at state
Big welcome planned at school tonight
Marlin fans are invited to give the Marlin cross country team a big welcome home tonight after the team took silver at the state meet in Round Rock today.
The team will travel down State Hwy. 361 from Corpus Christi and arrive at the Port Aransas High School parking lot at about 9 p.m. Fans are urged to be on hand to welcome the team after they won second at state for the second year in a row.
Individually, Matt Fries finished in eighth place and Corban Marcantel finished 10th.
Any change in the team's arrival time will be posted here.
