A lot of folks give their time and talent to prepare Port Aransas youngsters for competitive team sports when they enter middle school. Other folks give their time as members of the city’s advisory boards, providing valuable input to the city council. The Lady Marlins are ready and raring’ to go on the 2011-12 basketball season. Port Aransas voters will have their say on several state constitutional amendments in balloting next Tuesday.
