Former Port Aransas resident Johnny Ford, 56, has died.
Ford, who lived in Kemah, died on Friday, Oct. 21, at Clear Lake Hospital in Webster, near Houston.
Ford was cremated. A public memorial service will begin at 4 p.m. today, Wednesday, Oct. 26, at Ford’s home at 1210 Esther St. in Kemah.
Plans are in the works for a memorial service to be held in Port Aransas at a later date, according to Ford’s friends and family. Details will be announced later.
Ford worked as a manager at Pat Magee’s Surf Shop for a number of years.
