Pack a picnic basket or cooler and make your way to Patsy Jones Amphitheater in Roberts Point Park tomorrow, Friday, Oct. 14.

Shirley Fischer and Russell Edge will entertain audiences from 7 to 9 p.m. at the final Sunset Sounds of the 2011 season.

Concert-goers are invited to bring a lawn chair or blanket and sit back while watching the sun set over the Corpus Christi Ship Channel and listening to live music.

The free monthly concert series, sponsored by the Port Aransas Parks and Recreation Department, is held the second Friday each month April through October.

After a short break, Parks and Recreation will continue with Winter Sounds concerts. Held in January and February, Winter Sounds will be in partnership with the Port Aransas Community Theatre. Due the weather, this series is held at the theatre.
