Take a half-price dip in the Port Aransas Community Park pool on Labor Day.

The City of Port Aransas Parks and Recreation Department is offering half-off the entry fee on Monday, Sept. 5. Normally closed on Monday, the pool will be open from 1 to 6 p.m. in celebration of Labor Day.

Fees for this day are 50 cents for ages 2-18 and for those over 60, and $1 for ages 19-59. Children under 2 are free.

Children under 3 must wear a swim diaper.

The pool is located at 700 Clark Parkway, off Ross Avenue. The discount for the holiday is courtesy of the City of Port Aransas Parks and Recreation Department.
