Daily Activities

THURSDAY, JULY 28

• Get Active: Blob Tag. 10:30 a.m. H.G. Olsen gym, all ages. Free. • Chillin’ Time: Lucky Ducks. 2 p.m. Girl Scout Hut, ages 5 and up, Girl Scout hut, $2 for first child, $1 for each additional child.

SATURDAY, JULY 30

• Kid’s Day at the Computer Center. 10:30 a.m.- 2 p.m.Games, pizza and prizes. Free.

MONDAY, AUG. 1

• Bingo/Board Games. 2 p.m. Girl Scout Hut, all ages. Free. • 25 Cent Cinema. 7:05 p.m. Library. Family friendly movie and popcorn. 25 cents.

TUESDAY, AUG. 2

• Port Aransas Museum trip.10:30 a.m. All ages. Call 749-4158 to pre-register and ride bus. Free. • Wizard Party: Fun, wizardy stuff. 2 p.m. Girl Scout Hut, ages 5 and up. $2 for first child and $1 for each additional child.

WEDNESDAY, AUG. 3

• Weird Science: Egg Bounce.10:30 a.m. Community Park, ages 5 and up. $2 for first child and $1 for each additional child. • Chillin’ Time: Pinwheels. 2 p.m. Girl Scout Hut, ages 5 and up. $2 for first child and $1 for each additional child.

THURSDAY, AUG. 4

• Water Balloon Toss. 10:30 a.m. Community Park, ages 5 and up. Free. • Chillin’ Time: Seashell Vase Magnet. 2 p.m. Girl Scout Hut, ages 5 and up.$2 for first child and $1 for each additional child.

Day Camps

JUNE - JULY

• Private swim lessons. Four 30-minute sessions by arrangement with pool manager. One child, $18; Two children, $30. • Summer Reading Program at Ellis Memorial Library, geared toward ages 4-9, but all ages are welcome. Wednesdays, 3- 4 p.m. Self-paced program with activities planned to promote reading, stimulate curiosity and encourage children to use library resources. • Early Estuary Explorer Labs, ages 3- 7, Fridays through Aug. 5, 10 a.m.- noon. Learn about Coastal Bend wetlands through science, exploration, crafts and more. Topics will include plants, crustaceans, mollusks and storms and will change weekly. Wetlands Education Center at the University of Texas Marine Science Institute. Limited to 24 participants, on a firstcome, first-served basis. $4 per participant, including adults, payable by cash or check only.
