The Port Aransas Swim Team competed against more than 500 swimmers from Corpus Christi and the surrounding area at the 2011 City Championship. The meet was held Friday to Sunday, July 22-24, at the Corpus Christi Natatorium. Award medals and ribbons were given to the top 16 in each race.

Sixteen members of the team will compete in the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation State Games of Texas in Waco today, Thursday, July 28, through Sunday, July 31. The statebound swimmers qualified by placing first or second in a regional competition held earlier in July.
