The Port Aransas High School cheerleaders will hold a bake sale on Saturday, July 16, at the Family Center IGA, 418 S. Alister St., from 8 a.m. until items are sold out.

Money raised from the sale will help the squad pay for their uniforms and fund signs and travel goodies for the teams.

Also scheduled is a rummage sale on Saturday, July 30, in the PAHS gym foyer from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Cheerleader co-sponsors Nona Hendricks and Sherri Bujan said donations would be appreciated for both the bake sale and the rummage sale. To make arrangements for donations, contact Bujan at (361) 549-9878.

The squad is planning to attend an “IMPACT Mobile Teambuilding” camp in Port Aransas in August. The camp builds character, leadership, personal development and team unity.

“We want to build a good, solid cheerleading program and the girls know we have high expectations of them,” Bujan said.
