At a meeting July 21, the Port Aransas City Council might take a step toward eventually permitting additional commercial activity on the beach, including sales of food and drinks. Should the city make that change?
The city currently allows only one business on the beach, and that business must be the kind of enterprise that rents beach items like umbrellas and chairs.
