Children, grandchildren and friends of Island Moorings residents took to the streets on the Fourth of July for the almost annual neighborhood parade. At left, bicycle riders and their rides were in full regalia. At right, parents and grandparents escorted -- at least that’s what they said -- the young paraders. The parade ended at the home of Dr. and Mrs. Paul Kennedy on Bayside Drive. The tradition was started by Laurens and Julia Fish.
