The University of Texas Marine Science Institute makes an attractive offer. Have fun working in the field and in the lab investigating real world science questions and exploring local environments. Students will get a hands-on education while working with MSI researchers and graduate fellows.
Two week- long Science Camps, for students entering third and fourth grades, are being offered for $20 per session. Both sessions will be held Monday through Friday, from 10 a.m. to noon. Camp sessions for older students also are being held, but are already filled.
The June 27-July 1 camp is themed Coastal Island Investigators. Students will explore aspects of the importance of the marsh and wetlands, birding, plants, forms of transportation and weather/weather safety.
