Kids ages 5 to 12 are invited to form a posse at a Bike Rodeo on Sunday, May 15.

The Kiwanis Club of Port Aransas and the Port Aransas Police Department are joining forces to help kids learn bicycle safety skills from 2 to 3:30 p.m. in the parking lot of the Port Aransas High School, 100 S. Station St.

The Bike Safety Rodeo will allow youngster to demonstrate their riding safety skills and to register their bikes with the police department.

Every participant will get a free bike safety inspection and proper helmet fitting.

Participants should be their own bikes and helmets and a parent.
