Motorists who regularly traverse Alister Street might want to choose an alternate route tomorrow, Tuesday, April 19.

Starting at 8:15 a.m., Alister Street will be closed from Avenue A (Community Presbyterian Church) to Avenue C (American Bank) and will remain closed most of the day.

The work is in preparation for an overlay scheduled to begin April 25, and involves projects at each intersection (Alister at Avenue A and Alister at Avenue C) in which water mains will be updated and/or repaired.

Signs have been posted at those intersections.
