Ralph Reese, on left, and Joey Whittenburg of Marble Falls/Kingsland fished the south jetty while camping nearby on Saturday, March 19. The two caught a total of 14 black drum and two sheepshead, including this 38-inch drum they had to release since it was over the size limit. All their catches were on fresh dead shrimp. Whittenburg said it was his best fishing trip ever.
