Encourage your child to read by buying him or her a new book from the H.G. Olsen book fair.

Parents and children are invited to the book fair family night set for today, Thursday, March 10, 3-7 p.m., in the school’s library, 100 S. Station St.

Books purchased also will help the school earn books, valued at double the amount of the net proceeds. Books earned for the school at the fair will help benefit both the classrooms and the library.

Lisa Shelton, a book fair organizer, said it’s a “great way to get current books for kids and support the elementary school.”
