Spaghetti dinner to help set beach dashers on fast track

No need to prepare dinner tomorrow, Friday, Feb. 25.

Just head over to H.G. Olsen Elementary School, 100 S. Station St., for a Project Graduation spaghetti dinner from 5 to 8 p.m.

To be held on the eve of the Port Aransas Kiwanis Club’s Beach Dash, a plate of spaghetti, accompanied by bread, salad and a drink, will cost $5 per person. Beach dashers are invited to swing by after packet pick-up to carb load before the fun run on Saturday.

Dine in or to-go options are available. A bake sale table will be set-up for dessert options.

For more information, contact Beth Owens at (361) 774-6255.

Proceeds will go to fund 2011 Project Graduation, a lock-in party for Port Aransas High School graduates on graduation night, “the night that statistics say takes more young lives than any other,” said Owens.
