BMS girls fall to IWA
The Brundrett Middle School Lady Marlins are about to get it together.
“We were tentative on offense,” said coach Javier Mendoza of the eighthgraders’ 15-30 loss to Incarnate Word Academy of Corpus Christi on Thursday, Jan. 27.
We have to be more aggressive and be able to take advantage of the shot selections that open up with aggressive offensive play,” Mendoza said.
The middle school Angels held Brundrett to no score in the first quarter and no more than six points in any quarter on the Port Aransas court.
Madison Ray picked up eight of the Lady Marlins’ 15 points. Emily Roberson followed with four, Sydney Hogan hit two and Paige Bridges got one.
