Port Aransas ISD students will get out of school early tomorrow, Friday, Jan. 14, and won’t go to school at all the following Monday, Jan. 17.

The early release Friday is because it’s the end of the six-weeks reporting period, and schools always let out early at the end of the six weeks.

All campuses will get out at 1 p.m. However, since high school students go to lunch at 12:10 p.m. and have an open campus, they’ll effectively be free to leave at 12:10 p.m.

Monday is a teacher work day and students won’t be checking in to classes.
