Student show An “Adult Student Show” will be exhibited at the Jan. 7, First Friday art reception.

The Art Center for the Islands, located at 323 N. Alister St., will welcome visitors to view the exhibit, meet the artists, browse the gift shop and mingle with fellow art lovers from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

Live music will entertain guests and refreshments will be served.

Condominium Consulting Management Services is the January art center sponsor.

“Come by for food, fun, fellowship and shopping!” said art center director Mary Rose.
