Ring in the New Year early at ‘Noon’ Year’s Eve celebration
Toasting to 2010 at last year’s ‘Noon’ Year’s Eve celebration. Don’t particularly like to stay up late to watch the ball drop on New Year’s Eve?
That’s no problem. The City of Parks and Recreation Department invites all early birds to a countdown at the “Noon” Year’s Eve celebration.
From 11:30 a.m. to 12:15 p.m., on Friday, Dec. 31, early revelers can toast to the New Year at the Fred Rhodes Memorial Pavilion in Roberts Point Park. The public is invited to join in the free fellowship, music, cookies and, of course, the toast, with red punch and white grape juice.
