Terrific trees


Folks check out the trees at the Enchanted Holiday Forest on Monday, Dec. 13, at the Civic Center. Individuals, groups and businesses decorated trees for the event.The forest is open for general viewing weekdays until Dec. 22 from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. The Port Aransas Parks and Recreation Department organized the Enchanted Holiday Forest. Children were able to vote on their favorite trees. The Children’s Choice award went to the Parks and Recreation Department’s grounds crew tree, which was festooned with boxes and diorama scenes.
