Marla White of Indiahoma, Okla. brought this large ling onboard her boat after an hour and 15 minute battle with the fish on Thursday, Dec. 2. She traded a red snapper she was reeling in for this 52” ling when it took her catch as bait. She was fishing with her husband, James White, in state waters. The couple have come to Port Aransas every winter for many years.
