An all member show, “Thanks For the Memories,” will be on display at the First Friday art reception on Nov. 5 at the Art Center for the Islands, 323 N. Alister St.

Meet the artists, socialize and enjoy the exhibit, live music and refreshments from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m.

The exhibit will be on display, with the pieces available for purchase, through Saturday, Nov. 27.

Also available for purchase this month, are items from Port Aransas’ Centennial Celebration: Posters, coloring books, ornaments and visors. Silent auction bids are being taken for the framed original artwork that was used for the Centennial Celebration poster. Bids are being accepted now through the First Friday Christmas party on Friday, Dec 3.

State Rep. Todd Hunter is the November art center sponsor.
