Lessons in safety...and fun!


Members of the Port Aransas Volunteer Fire Department made the rounds recently as part of Fire Prevention Week. Pictured above is a visit at Trinity by the Sea Day School and below is a visit at Carmella’s Daycare and Learning. Capt. John Shrier, in dark uniform, and Nate Barrows, in safety gear, brought the firetruck to the schools and showed children how they dress to stay safe. The children were invitied to climb in the truck and turn on the sirens.
