Sarah Louise “Sally” Bell, 70, died on Friday, Sept. 10, 2010, after a short battle with brain cancer. She was the sister of Marion Fersing of Port Aransas.

Bell was born on July 7, 1940 in Fort Worth where she lived most of her life. She met her husband Walton “Bill” Bell in Midland in 1962, and they were married nearly 40 years before he died in 2000.

She was an active member of University Christian Church where she was baptized in 1952.

Bell also is survived by her sons, Bob (Trish) Bell, Doug (Andrea) Bell and Gregg (Amy) Bell; grandchildren, Hudson and McCabe Bell; step-grandchildren, Mariah Acevedo and Christopher Schuchardt; her other sisters, Ethel Dodge and Donny Wiley; and brother, Doug Wiley.

A memorial service was held Tuesday, Sept. 21, at University Christian Church in Fort Worth.
