Marina Milligan will lead the Port Aransas High School Student Council as president this year, after an election held on Thursday, Sept. 2.

Kelsey Ortiz was elected vice-president, Hazel Morris is treasurer and Tarryn Murray is secretary, rounding out the student council officers.

Milligan, Ortiz and Murray are seniors; Morris is a junior this year. None was opposed in the election.

The student council meets every Wednesday at 11:30 a.m. in advisor Leif Johnson’s room at the high school.
