Twelve members of the Port Aransas Swim Team are preparing to compete at the the Texas Amateur Athletic Federation State Games of Texas in Waco on Aug. 5-8. The swimmers earned a spot at the state meet after placing first or second at the Region 16 meet held in Corpus Christi early in July.
