Ronald Ray Martin, 54, died on Saturday, July 24, 2010. He was born on April 26, 1956 in Bremerton, Wash. to Billy Ray and Betty Martin.

Martin worked for the Texas Department of Transportation as a ferry deck hand.

He is survived by his wife, Kimberly Berry Martin of Port Aransas; ex-wife, Donna Martin of Leesville, La.; sons, Ronald Martin and Timothy Martin of Leesville; step-son, Shawn Giambattista of San Marcos; step-daughter, Autumn Furrh of Sherman; his father of Fla. and mother of Boise, Idaho; brothers, Larry Martin of Portland, Ore., Donald Martin of Flour Bluff and Terry Lee Padgett of Washington; sisters, Carol Davis and Diane Martin, both of Boise; grandchildren, Sara Martin, Mila Martin, Kira Martin, Braden Bodin, Olan James Weaver and Megan Gannehill, all of Leesville.

A memorial service was held on July 26 at the ferry.
