Beachcombers or wannabe’s are invited to a free, guided beach walk tomorrow, Friday, June 25.

Meet guide Shirley Fischer on the beach under the purple flag near Horace Caldwell Pier at 9 a.m. to learn about the treasures that wash ashore on Mustang Island beaches.

Each month the City of Port Aransas Parks and Recreation Department offers the walks for visitors and residents.

Beach walkers should wear sunscreen, appropriate shoes, hats and clothing and bring a container for any treasures found.

The walks are held on the fourth Friday of each month.
