10:17 a.m. • A minor accident was reported on State Hwy. 361.
1:55 p.m. • A vehicle burglary was reported at Pole 32 on the beach.
9:27 p.m. • In the 2600 block of State Hwy. 361, a hit and run accident was reported.
TUESDAY, JUNE 1
6:57 a.m. • Emergency Medical Service (EMS) crews took a sick person from the 600 block of Oceanside to an area hospital.
1:44 p.m. • A sick person was taken from the 500 block of Farley Street to an area hospital by EMS workers.
2:09 p.m. • An officer charged a motorist at Pole 6 on the beach with driving while intoxicated.
8:20 p.m. • A prisoner was found dead in a holding cell at the Port Aransas Police Department (see related story).
WEDNESDAY, JUNE 2
3:05 a.m. • A person reported criminal mischief in the 1000 block of 10th Street.
THURSDAY, JUNE 3
2:07 a.m. • A resident reported a prowler in the 1600 block of South 11th Street. No prowler was found.
10:38 a.m. • A theft was reported in the 400 block of West Avenue G.
3:43 p.m. • At Pole 8 on the beach, a man was charged with public intoxication (PI) and possession of marijuana.
FRIDAY, JUNE 4
1:46 p.m. • In the 200 block of Beachwalk Lane, a burglary was reported.
9:36 p.m. • A person reported an assault in the 500 block of East Avenue G.
SATURDAY, JUNE 5
12:36 a.m. • A hit and run accident was reported in the 700 block of Trout Street.
1:58 a.m. • Checking on a noise complaint in the 600 block of Tarrant Street, officers charged a man with violating the city’s noise ordinance and resisting arrest.
7:57 a.m. • A motorist was warned at Pole 20 on the beach after complaints of reckless driving.
12:32 p.m. • EMS workers took a sick person from the 600 block of Cut-off Road to a Corpus Christi hospital.
8:59 p.m. • A disturbance was reported in the 100 block of West Cotter Avenue.
9:54 p.m. • A person reported an assault in the 300 block of East Cotter Avenue.
11:53 p.m. • In the 200 block of On the Beach, a disturbance was reported.
SUNDAY, JUNE 6
6:13 p.m. • A child reported missing near Pole 1 on the beach was reunited with its parents.
6:28 p.m. • Checking on a report of trespassing in the 500 block of Farley Street, an officer issued a criminal trespass warning.
MONDAY, JUNE 7, 2010
12:37 a.m. • Responding to an assault, EMS crews took an injured person from near Pole 19 on the beach to a Corpus Christi hospital. Officers charged one person at the scene with PI and failure to identify to a police officer, and another with aggravated assault causing serious injury.
