Bad weather has postponed plans for a ribbon cutting at the newly finished skate area at Port Aransas Community Park.
The event now is scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, March 21. A ribbon cutting will be followed by a few hours of unstructured skate activity, said Interim City Manager Dave Parsons.
The ribbon cutting originally was scheduled for noon Saturday, March 20, but rain forced city officials to postpone it.
