Longtime Port Aransas resident Butch Ousley suffered what appeared to be a broken leg in a traffic accident today, Thursday, March 11, police said.
The collision occurred about 7:45 a.m. at the intersection of Alister and Roberts streets.
Ousley was driving a motorcycle north on Alister, and Flip Burleson of Port Aransas was driving a 2007 Dodge pickup truck west on Roberts when the two vehicles collided, said Port Aransas Police Chief Scott Burroughs.
Ousley was taken to Doctor’s Regional Hospital in Corpus Christi. Burleson wasn’t injured, police said.
No charges had been filed this morning. The accident still was under investigation.
