Museum benefit is Saturday Get “Hooked on the Port Aransas Museum.” That’s the theme for the evening at the Port Aransas Preservation and Historical Association dinner and live auction on Saturday, March 6, at 7 p.m. Proceeds from the event, to be held at the Community Center, 408 N. Alister St., will benefit the Port Aransas Museum.Tickets are $50 per person and corporate tables seating eight are available for $600, $800, $1,000, $1,500. A live auction will include travel opportunities, local “get-aways” and sporting excursions, according to PAPHA communications director Pam Greene. The catered dinner will include whole beef tenderloin, mahi mahi with lump crab dressing, baked cherry Italian tomato, potato and sweet onion casserole, mixed greens with candied pecans and Mandarin oranges. appetizers, desserts and wine.
