Museum party to celebrate Bundy Sunday

Celebrate Betty Bundy at the Port Aransas Museum.

Bundy, former Port Aransas Preservation Historical Association board member, grant chairman, brick chairman and more, is moving to San Antonio.

A party celebrating her contributions to the organization will be held on Sunday, Feb. 21, from 3 to 5 p.m., in the Port Aransas Museum, 408 Brundrett Ave. at Alister St.

The community is invited to come and “share your ‘Betty stories,’ toast her accomplishments and wish her well in her next adventure,” said PAPHA director of communications Pam Greene.

Bundy will continue to contribute to PAPHA through the Internet.

According to Greene, “Members of the organization all agree her talents and determination were instrumental in its forward progress and the creation and opening of the museum.”
