Mystery solved, money raised

The Port Aransas Museum docents raised more than $2340 over the last few months selling drawing tickets for a dinner for six prepared by a ‘mystery chef.’ The winning ticket was drawn Saturday, Feb. 6, at the museum. Present for the drawing were Karen Larsen, from left, Charlie Zahn, ‘mystery chef’ Mary Henkel Judson, editor and co-publisher of the South Jetty newspaper, John Heinen, Linda Zahn, Marla Heinen and Pepper Pendzinski, all of Port Aransas, and visiting Jim McCarville of Lindstrom, Minn., who drew the ticket. The winners were Corrine and Art VanVeen of Port Aransas.
