Dreyer

Lloyd Joseph “Jody” Dreyer of Ingleside, 55, died Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2010 at the age of 55. He was the son of Lloyd Alfred and Eula Mae Dreyer of Port Aransas.

Dreyer was born Aug. 3, 1954, in Corpus Christi.

He was employed as a captain for Kirby Inland Marine, and was a member of the Aransas Pass Masonic Lodge.

Dreyer was preceded in death by his brother, Ralph Stephenson Dreyer.

He is survived by his parents; his wife, Katherine Irene Linney-McElroy Dreyer of Ingleside; three sons, Lloyd J. Dreyer Jr. of Port Aransas, Shaun P.T. (Tera) Dreyer of Aransas Pass, and Willard D. Dreyer of Ingleside; a daughter, Llisha K. Dreyer of Ingleside; two brothers, Richard Allen Dreyer of Rockport, and Gary David (Frederica) Dreyer of Austin; grandchildren, Chelsey L. Cooper, Lillian A. Dreyer, Amber Gray, Ethan Gray and one on the way.

Visitation will be held Thursday, Feb. 4, from noon to 9 p.m. at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home, 2003 W. Wheeler Ave., Aransas Pass. A funeral service will be held on Friday, Feb. 5, at 2 p.m., also at Charlie Marshall Funeral Home.

Burial will be at Prairie View Cemetery in Aransas Pass.
